Social Media Map, Social Media Marketing by Overdrive Interactive
This map is interesting in many different levels: because of the way it classifies (i.e. Groups versus platforms versus Social Networks?) and what is included (and not) under each classification (Is Facebook a platform? What about Wiki services such as Wetpaint?) The Social Media space badly needs formal semantic definition; we need to speak the same language and mean the same things when we do it. This is one of my wishes for 2009
